Thailand Summer Festival 2010

(Mon 26 July 2010)

What could be more summery than spending a day on a white beach, enjoying a cocktail or Singha beer and a relaxing Thai massage? How does a Thai evening get any more traditional than tasting culinary Thai delights and being entertained by authentic Thai music and dance, after strolling through a Thai Night market? You can have it all (except the white beach) on 14 and 15 August right here in The Hague when this year’s Thailand Summer Festival takes place in Zuiderpark.

This festival promises to take you on a discovery tour through the land of smiles. Whether you’re interested in visiting Thailand for the first time or you’re already a fan of this popular holiday destination, you will be able to re(discover) its many attractions during this open air festival. Other highlights will be traditional Thai theatre and original Thai boxing. At the market, find authentic Thai products to purchase, such as the ones you might need for cooking Thai dishes yourself. Typical non-food products such as statues, furniture and flowers will be available.

If you are planning a trip to Thailand shortly, at the festival you will find several organisations, travel agents and other service companies willing to answer all of your questions.

Tickets are € 3 for the festival and € 15 including the concert, and can be purchased here: www.thailandfestival.nl
