Gauchos is a traditional grill restaurant in the heart of The Hague, serving up hearty ranch style dishes. The traditional Argentinean steak being the centrepiece of the menu but Gauchos offer a wide variety of mouth-watering options for all tastes.

Gauchos Grill Restaurants have developed a reputation in The Netherlands for their sizzling steaks and juicy ribs, and it's reputation in The Hague is quite established. 

Situated on the corner of the Molenstraat and Oude Molstraat since 1978, Gauchos lies in the middle of The Hague's charming Hofkwartier, and is a stone's throw from the centre of town.

Gauchos pride themselves on providing an ambient atmosphere in which to enjoy that perfect, sizzling steak or creative seafood options.

The restaurant's ambience is partially owed to the ranch-style, yet tasteful, decor. The style is a combination between modern elegance and tradition, featuring soft lighting and comfortable wooden furniture, covered in authentic cow skins. Fairy lights glow from the mesh detailing on the ceiling, proving a romantic setting, while the skin-covered chairs and couches are a fun, traditional touch.

The menu offers a diverse range of typical Argentinean classics, while providing well-known dishes that are familiar to the tastebuds.

The specialty, without doubt is the classic Argentinean steak.

The meat is cooked on a grill, ensuring that all the flavour and juice is firmly sealed within the meat. 

The wide range of side dishes will suit all tastes, ranging from a baked potato to fries, to salad and roasted vegetables.

Desserts are enough to bring tears to the eyes, a favourite being the 'chocolate, chocolate, chocolate' which, well...says it all! Another dessert favourite is the traditional Argentinean best-seller, the crepe with 'dulche de dulche leche' ice-cream and nuts.

~ Gauchos Hosts Second Hague Dining Experience ~

On Tuesday, 10 November, the Hague Dining Experience, the new initiative of TheHagueOnLine, was held at Gauchos. Guests from TheHagueOnLine Social Club enjoyed a relaxing evening combining traditional Argentinean dining with pleasant company. The guests that were present agreed that the addition of the Hague Dining Experience is an interesting new initiative and look forward to future events.

Gauchos created a special menu for TheHagueOnLine for the occasion. The menu will be available at Gauchos from 10 November until 31 November. Simply quote 'TheHagueOnLine' at the restaurant to receive the same menu in future.
