According to the Rotterdam ticket agency 4Alltickets, the pop star Price will be appearing at the Royal Beach Concert on Scheveningen beach on 28 August, although no official announcement has been made about performers. The agency is offering tickets on its own website at a minimum price of € 245, with VIP tickets going for € 450.

The event organiser calls this ‘a completely illegal action’. The deal with Prince, he says, has only just been concluded and ticket sales have not yet commenced. ‘The tickets do not have the right bar code and the price of a VIP ticket will € 1000 and not € 450´. The concert is intended as a mainly free event, being financed by a Council subsidy and the sale of VIP tickets for a special private performance in the Kurhaus. The organisers are expecting the main concert to attract 100,000 visitors. Rumours are still doing the rounds that Robbie Williams, and not Prince, will be the main star.
