TEDx The Hague Beyond Uncertainty @ Louwman Museum (7 November 2026)

TEDx The Hague Beyond Uncertainty @ Louwman Museum (7 November 2026)

TEDxTheHague returns this November with its annual flagship event. The theme this year is Beyond Uncertainty, bringing together speakers, ideas and curious minds to explore how we can navigate an increasingly unpredictable world.

From rapid technological change and geopolitical tension to climate disruption, economic uncertainty and social change, many of the systems we once relied on feel less predictable. Rather than offering easy answers, Beyond Uncertainty asks what happens when we acknowledge that we do not have all the answers and begin looking at uncertainty differently.

Through TEDx talks and shared conversation, the afternoon will explore how we can move beyond fear, paralysis and polarisation towards greater clarity, courage and possibility. The event is also an opportunity to meet others interested in fresh perspectives, meaningful conversations and ideas worth spreading.

The speaker line-up is still to be announced. Doors open at 13:30, with the programme running from 14:00 to 18:00 at the Louwman Museum. Tickets are now available and places are limited.

Date: Saturday 7 November 2026
Time: Doors open 13:30, event 14:00–18:00
Location: Louwman Museum, Leidsestraatweg 57, The Hague

Curated Sunday Practice: Explore Movement with Dance Bunch @ Cloud/danslab (6 + 13 + 27 September 2026)

Curated Sunday Practice: Explore Movement with Dance Bunch @ Cloud/danslab (6 + 13 + 27 September 2026)

Dance Bunch is a dance community founded in The Hague in 2022, and they are launching a new series of Sunday sessions inviting people to explore movement, creativity and physical practice together.

Curated Sunday Practice is open to all levels, from complete beginners to experienced and professional dancers. Rather than working towards a performance or finished result, the two-hour sessions focus on the process itself: exploring movement, developing awareness, using your imagination and discovering your own relationship with physical practice.

Each Sunday features a different invited artist, who shares elements of their own physical practice, research and approach to movement. Participants are encouraged to explore at their own pace, with space for both individual discovery and shared practice.

The sessions are also an opportunity to meet others in The Hague’s dance and movement community in an informal and welcoming setting.

Whether you have never danced before, have some previous experience or work professionally, Curated Sunday Practice offers a chance to step away from everyday routines and spend two hours focusing fully on movement, perception and exploration.

Macy Gray @ PAARD (12 November 2026)

Macy Gray @ PAARD (12 November 2026)

Macy Gray has the unique ability to create refreshingly honest music that resonates deeply with listeners. As an R&B/soul singer, songwriter, musician and producer, Gray uses her vibrant voice, her unshakeable command of soul, and her funky presence to fully harness the power of music.

Originally from Canton, Ohio, Gray moved to Los Angeles to study screenwriting at the University of Southern California (USC). While studying, she began writing songs for friends and discovered her own voice when the singer meant to record the demos failed to show up. That defining moment marked the beginning of a legendary career.

Gray broke through in 1999 with her debut album On How Life Is, which went triple platinum and established her as a leading force in R&B and soul. She built a loyal global fanbase, sold more than 25 million albums worldwide, received five Grammy® nominations, won the 2000 Grammy® Award for Best Pop Vocal Performance for her iconic hit I Try, and also received two BRIT Awards.

Now, more than two decades into her career, Gray continues to evolve as a versatile artist. She has collaborated with renowned musicians including Bobby Brown, Ariana Grande and Galactic, and remains a compelling live performer who sells out venues around the world. Her talent extends beyond music: she appeared in Tyler Perry’s Black Reel Award-winning film For Colored Girls, as well as Brotherly Love and Cardboard Boxer, appeared in Netflix’s Fuller House, and made a memorable appearance in Training Day alongside Academy Award winner Denzel Washington.
