On Wednesday 25 February, the election help desk will open in the Atrium of The Hague City Hall. A second help desk will also be set up at the Escamp district office for the upcoming municipal council elections. At these physical locations, residents of The Hague can go with practical questions about the municipal elections on 18 March. This includes questions about their polling card or how to authorise someone to vote on their behalf. Residents can also request and immediately receive a replacement polling card.

The election help desks are politically neutral and do not provide voting advice.

The help desk in the Atrium was previously open from 19 January to 5 February. During that period, eligible voters in The Hague were able to submit declarations of support for new political parties or parties that did not win a seat in the previous elections. More than 300 declarations of support were submitted at the help desk.

It was recently announced that twenty parties will take part in the municipal council elections on 18 March. A total of 487 candidates appear on the candidate lists.
