The Hague Online is taking a May holiday form 28 April to 5 May.

For those of you with children on school holidays and travelling – enjoy!

If you’re staying at home, The Hague International Centre has put together a great guide here:

Ideas for Outings in The Hague during the May Holidays

Don’t forget that it’s Nationale Herdenkingsdag (National Remembrance Day) on 4 May, and Bevrijdingsdag on 5 May.

On Sunday 4 May, flags will be flown at half mast there will be 2 minutes of silence throughout the country in remembrance of those who have lost their lives in conflicts.

On Monday 5 May, there are 80 Haagse Vrijheidsmaaltijden (Hague Freedom Meals) across the city and the Bevrijdingsfestival (Freedom Festival) will be held in the Malieveld.

There is some great weather predicated, so hope that you all enjoy the sunshine, and we’ll be back next week!
