Museon-Omniversum has a new director-manager. Nancy Zomer from The Hague will take office on 1 May. She is the successor to Peter de Haan, who has retired.  Nancy Zomer comes from Cultuurschakel Den Haag. She has experience in both the cultural and commercial sectors. Previously, she was a member of the Supervisory Board of Museon-Omniversum and is therefore very familiar with this Hague museum and dome film theatre.

Nancy Zomer on her appointment: “ In a world that is changing faster than ever, wonder is the key to understanding. Museon-Omniversum offers a unique place where science, nature and culture come together and stimulate the imagination. My mission is to strengthen this power, to bring in new perspectives and to forge partnerships with visitors, the municipality, cultural institutions, education and the business community. Because only by sharing knowledge and joining forces can we surprise, challenge, inspire and really make an impact. In this way, we make science and culture more accessible and relevant to an ever-wider audience ”.

Chairman of the Supervisory Board Willem Bijleveld is pleased with this appointment: “ With Nancy Zomer we get a dynamic director who brings a lot of experience in the field of cultural marketing and education. She will further intensify the cooperation with partners in The Hague and nationally ”.
