Registrations for the Haagse Parel 2025 have opened. Companies from The Hague that have made an exceptional contribution to The Hague in the past year and companies that focus on circular business activities have until Monday, March 31 to be nominated for this Hague business award.

The municipality of The Hague is proud of its entrepreneurs. That is why the Haagse Parel has been awarded for several years: an award for companies that make a special contribution to the economy of The Hague, and show commitment and initiative for the city. This year again there are two categories: Exceptional contribution and Impactful circular enterprise.
Exceptional contribution
For companies that contribute to The Hague’s economy in the areas of city profiling, employment, sustainability, social involvement or innovation.
Impactful circular company
Concerns companies that focus on maximum reusability and minimum value destruction of raw materials. In doing so, companies are considered that focus on as many circular sources as possible, with which the greatest possible impact is made.
Suggest a company
After last year’s success, entrepreneurs and residents of The Hague can also nominate companies for a Haagse Parel this year. Via the website www.haagseparel.nl you can nominate yourself or a company that should not be among the nominees this year.
The professional jury and public votes
This year, the professional jury consists of: Kaushilya Budhu Lall on behalf of the Economic Board The Hague, Edith Groenewegen on behalf of MKB Den Haag, Robert Medenblik on behalf of VNO-NCW regio Den Haag, Juriën Kester (winner of the Haagse Parel 2024 category Exceptional contribution) and Rolien Wiersinga on behalf of Circulair Green (winner of the Haagse Parel 2024 category Impactful circular enterprise). The jury report counts for 60% of the final result. The remaining 40% is supplemented by public votes.
From all entries, the professional jury will select three nominees per category. They will receive media attention from Den Haag FM, a promotional video and a LinkedIn course. The eventual winners will receive the Haagse Parel Award, a €5,000 growth budget, an annual membership of VNO-NCW Regio Den Haag and MKB Den Haag and free tickets to the Mauritshuis. The prize will be awarded on Friday 13 June during Den Haag Inspireert!, the entrepreneurial networking event with 750 entrepreneurs from The Hague.
Registration is possible from March 3 to March 31 (10:00) via www.haagseparel.nl . The nominees will be announced on Tuesday April 22.
