The Kunstmuseum Den Haag and the cooperative Rabobank Regio Den Haag are continuing their partnership. With this extension, both organizations remain committed to engaging young audiences, providing a platform for new voices, and building sustainable connections in the city. The new evening program, KM@NIGHT, is a concrete result of this ongoing collaboration.

Rabobank has been a partner of Kunstmuseum Den Haag since 2016. Previous joint projects include the MBO Internship Bureau, the permanent children’s exhibition “Wonderkamers,” and the Museum Bus. With this extended partnership, Kunstmuseum Den Haag and Rabobank are building on their shared social ambition.

According to General Director Margriet Schavemaker, KM@NIGHT is the next step in the museum’s development as an open and inclusive institution: “The collaboration with Rabobank demonstrates the value of having partners who share the same social vision. Following the MBO Internship Bureau, KM@NIGHT is a logical and exciting next step: we’re making the museum a place where young people can identify and feel at home.”

Rabobank also sees the extension as a logical step in the partnership. Harry Wientjens, director of Rabobank Regio Den Haag: “Young people are the future, and that future can be quite challenging. That’s why we’re happy to invest in initiatives that empower young people. We believe it’s important for them to develop resilience, be themselves, and connect with others. We’ve already made great strides together in recent years. With KM@NIGHT, we’re building on that: an evening where young people from diverse backgrounds can meet new people, get inspired, and simply have a great time.”

During the first edition of KM@NIGHT, visitors participated in workshops, saw live art being created, enjoyed DJ sets, and experienced the museum as a place for meeting and exchange. The first edition was linked to the Titanic & Fashionexhibition and was co-created by PIP Den Haag and ONLUCK events.

The successful launch of KM@NIGHT lays the foundation for future editions in which the Kunstmuseum Den Haag and the cooperative Rabobank The Hague region will further deepen their collaboration. With this initiative, the Kunstmuseum and Rabobank aim to continue engaging young visitors and strengthen the museum’s role as a place for art, encounters, and social exchange. The next edition of KM@NIGHT will be on Friday, March 27th.

KM@NIGHT is made possible in part by the cooperative Rabobank The Hague
