Stichting Dramtune was founded in 2009 in The Hague, after founder Sandro Bruti had fallen seriously in love with traditional music, especially from Scotland, Ireland and Italy many years earlier.

In combination with good wine, good whisky and, of course, delicacies from Italy, his father’s country, to be precise, the area around the volcanic Lake Bolsena in northern Lazio.
Over the years, Dramtune has offered a stage to many hundreds of musicians in a variety of musical styles, from jazz, funky soul, blues, Latin to tango, gypsy, Americana, country and folk rock, as well as traditional music from places such as Scotland, Africa, Mexico, Ireland, Italy, Brittany, Iraq, Turkey, Hungary, Romania and Greece.
Dramtune tastings
Stichting Dramtune also organises tastings based on Single Malt Whisky and other distillates, imports delicious olive oil, cheeses and garlic from Italy, and also regularly organises caterings for companies, cultural institutions, festivals and sometimes individuals.
Since 2016, Dramtune has also had a beautiful location in Scheveningen called Casa Bruti, here private music evenings and tastings are held, moreover it is an ideal place to celebrate something as a family, group of friends or company, inside Casa Bruti offers space for around 40 people, but there is also a spacious terrace which means it can make even more people happy when the weather is nice.
Sandro Bruti has been assisted for years by Sophie Tuijt, together they form the core of the Dramtune Foundation, with the aim of bringing together musicians, music lovers and foodies from home and abroad, thus strengthening music and boundless togetherness.
