The renowned tribute band U2two – known from The Tribute Battle of the Bands – will bring a breathtaking ode to U2 in the Dome of Museon-Omniversum on 27, 28, 29 and 30 March. Inspired by the legendary U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere shows in Las Vegas in 2023-2024, they combine the greatest U2 hits with an unparalleled audiovisual experience on the gigantic 360° dome screen. From Sphere to the Hague Sfeâh
The Sphere in Las Vegas is a revolutionary stage for audiovisual shows. U2 was the first artist to perform 40 sold-out sensational concerts in 2023-2024 after the opening. Although the Sphere is larger, Museon-Omniversum has been around much longer and has a rich tradition of combining live music with spectacular projections. For 25 years, it has been programming the legendary Pink Project concerts and therefore knows better than anyone how to combine live music and immersive visuals.
The first U2 tribute in this unique concept
Tribute bands are more popular than ever. To stand out from the crowd, you sometimes have to push boundaries where no other tribute act has ever been. U2two is the first U2 tribute band to perform the unique ‘Sphere’ concept. The result? An unparalleled audiovisual U2 experience, closer to home.
For these shows special visuals are made by students of sintlucas in Boxtel . They were inspired by the themes and iconic aesthetics of Achtung Baby and translated these into unique projections that merge perfectly with the music.
The Dome will be transformed into the ‘Haagse Sfeâh’ for four nights. Enjoy U2’s iconic sound, a captivating live performance and cool 360° projections. Expect a set full of classics such as One , With or Without You , Where the Streets Have No Name and of course many iconic tracks from Achtung Baby .
