Dear International Friends,
We are delighted to invite you to join us for an evening with internationally acclaimed artist Bouke de Vries, exploring the fascinating ideas behind his current exhibition Unbroken which is taking place at the Princessehof National Museum of Ceramics in Leeuwarden until August 2026.
Using his skills as a restorer, Bouke transforms broken ceramics – often historic or antique pieces – into new and unexpected artworks in innovative and multifaceted ways. The exhibition Unbroken features artworks from Bouke’s career, in which he experiments with the theme of decay and repair, focusing on ‘the beauty of destruction’.
