Partners from The Hague are joining forces to organize the first edition of The Hague Hospitality Day. On Tuesday, November 25th, everyone interested in a future in the hospitality sector is welcome at the Grote Kerk. Discover the diversity of hospitality—from catering to events, tourism, healthcare, and retail.
Program: from workshops to a look behind the scenes
During The Hague Hospitality Day, participants are immersed in the dynamic world of hospitality. The program includes:
- Hospitality Walking Tour through The Hague – A journey of discovery past unique restaurants, hotels, and cultural venues in The Hague, with exclusive backstage glimpses and encounters with entrepreneurs.
- Job Market – Looking for an internship, part-time job, or new challenge? Leading companies and training providers are ready to assist visitors.
- Culinary expert Pierre Wind will be there to tell you all about the hospitality industry.
- Interactive workshops, such as having a LinkedIn profile picture taken and talking to hospitality students and professionals.
- Access to the Hague Hospitality Fair – Taste, experience, and discover the latest trends in hospitality.
- Afterparty – The day ends with a fun afterparty, featuring great tunes from DJs, snacks, and drinks.
Target audience
The Hague Hospitality Day is aimed at pupils, students, job seekers, career changers, and anyone curious about a career in hospitality. The sector offers endless opportunities—from creative roles to management positions, from local hospitality to top international companies.
Collaborating partners
The Hague Hospitality Day is an initiative of several Hague-based organizations, including the Royal Dutch Hospitality Association (Koninklijke Horeca Nederland), The Hague branch, The Hague Hotel Council, ROC Mondriaan, Hotelschool The Hague, The Hague and Partners, UWV, and WSP The Hague. “There is a growing demand for new hospitality talent in the sector. With this event, we want to showcase the sector’s diversity and potential and inspire visitors to shape their future in a field brimming with creativity, a people-focused approach, and energy,” on behalf of the partners, the Royal Dutch Hospitality Association (Koninklijke Horeca Nederland), The Hague branch.
